RE Heads Please How to Earn Money: Stage-by-Stage Route

The fastest verified route: flip to $1,000, roll at the fountain, enable auto flip, then upgrade money earned and enchant — with spending traps, codes, and coin profit examples.

The core mechanic in RE: Heads, Please! is flipping coins to collect money. Each coin's rarity determines how much money you get per spin, and coins are obtained through the gacha system at the Fountain on the first floor of Pancake Station, where each gamble costs about $1,000. Coins are also used to mine ores and items in the Ruined Station, but that's a separate leveling zone where coin rarity neither helps nor hinders progress.

Your first moves

  1. Starting with the basic coin, you make almost nothing — the coin flips heads or tails, shown at the bottom. Keep flipping until you reach $1,000.
  2. Spend that $1,000 gambling at the fountain. Keep rolling until you land a coin worth staying with for a while.
  3. Enable auto flip so your coin flips automatically while you do other things.
  4. Do the quest NPCs' quests — finding the sprays, then the board markers. Completing them unlocks the skateboard (press Q to ride, R to boost), which speeds up getting around.
  5. With a decent coin, visit the upgrade NPC and put points into the money-earned stat first — it's just extra money, and you can't really go wrong with it.
  6. Then enchant your coin. Good enchants are Wealth, Heads, and Flash. Aim for a higher tier (Flash 3 or Flash 2) rather than settling for a first-tier enchant.

Don't waste money upgrading early

As a beginner, upgrading coins at the upgrade NPC is not the best use of money, because the fountain will hand you much better coins very quickly. Spending everything upgrading a basic coin leaves you with something useless for the future. Focus early on earning money and rolling more coins instead; upgrading money earned and enchanting only become worthwhile once you have a coin you'll keep.

Accessories boost earnings per minute

Accessories — types like belts and necklaces — give different stat boosts. The rarest items are expensive and rare drops. Notably, accessories that increase flip speed directly raise your earnings per minute, and ones boosting critical chance improve flip payouts.

Free boosts from codes

Open the shop's codes button (shopping basket icon) and redeem everything — codes get you a ton of stuff. Active examples:

  • Update2.5 — three engraving scrolls, five enchant books, five accessory tickets
  • ThankyouFor5kCCU — three lucky sodas, three wealth sodas, three energy drinks
  • ThankyouFor4kCCU — eight enchant books, eight accessory tickets
  • ThankyouFor3kCCU — five enchant books, five accessory tickets
  • WeAreBack — one lucky soda, five enchant books, three accessory tickets

Codes expire fairly quickly, so re-check what's currently live before relying on any of them.

Example coin profits

CoinMin profitMax profitPrice
Penny$10$10$0
Dalgona Coin$15$15$2.0M (Money)

These are the lowest-tier coins; higher rarities pay more per flip, so replace your coin whenever the fountain gives you a clearly better one.

What to do next

If your coin is weak, roll at the fountain. If your coin is good, upgrade money earned and then enchant it, and prioritize flip-speed accessories. Once you're established, the Ruined Station offers a separate mining progression — coin rarity doesn't affect it, so treat it as side income rather than your main earning route.
